Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and SDKs. This policy explains what we use, why, and how you can control them. It forms part of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function — page routing, security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off and do not require consent.
- Preferences. Remember choices such as your cookie selection or previously viewed content so the site behaves consistently for you.
- Analytics / performance. Aggregate, non-identifying measurement of page views, referrers, device type, and general region, used only to improve content and performance. These load only if you accept them.
- Marketing. We do not currently run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested before any such cookie is set.
Third-party content
Some pages embed third-party resources — for example web fonts, map tiles from OpenStreetMap, and links to independent partner websites. Those providers may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control. Following an outbound link takes you to a site governed by that operator's cookie and privacy practices.
Your choices
- Use the consent banner shown on your first visit to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
- Change your mind at any time — reopen the banner with the button below.
- Block or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that some features may degrade.
- Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor where technically feasible by treating it as a rejection of non-essential cookies.
Retention
Your consent choice is stored on your own device for up to 12 months, after which you will be asked again. Session-based items expire when you close your browser.
Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)
Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website. All other categories are used only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
